Hernando Teacher Posts “86 47” Anti-Trump Message, Defends Nation Wide Violent Protests School Board Confirms Investigation

By Louis “LJ” Johns

Jennifer R. Muente, a Hernando County school teacher who uses the Facebook alias “Jenn Kucera,” is now under investigation by the school district after publicly posting the phrase “86 47” an slogan widely interpreted as a call to eliminate or “remove” President Donald Trump.

The controversy began after Muente engaged in a heated debate inside the “Spring Hill Neighbors Hernando County FL” Facebook group, where she defended a far-left protest scheduled for June 14 at the intersection of Mariner Blvd and SR-50. She not only supported the protest she also indicated she would be attending it.

In her comments, Muente dismissed concerns of violence as “misinformation,” accused local residents of racism and xenophobia, and claimed that crossing the border illegally is merely a civil offense—not a crime. She referred to immigration raids as “harmful to families” and took aim at local conservatives for pushing back on the protest.

But what escalated the situation further was her Facebook cover photo boldly displaying “86 47.” The phrase drew national attention in May 2025 when former FBI Director James Comey posted it—sparking widespread backlash for what many saw as a veiled threat against the President of the United States.

As a teacher entrusted with influencing young minds in our public schools, Muente’s decision to promote such rhetoric publicly is deeply concerning.

I contacted all members of the Hernando County School Board, excluding Susan Duval, who has consistently failed to act on previous community concerns. Vice Chair Mark Johnson did respond to my inquiry and confirmed:

“This issue has been referred for investigation. Once a determination is completed the proper authorities will take appropriate action.”

As of now, there has been no fb public statement from the school district regarding Muente’s status or any disciplinary action.

This isn’t just about political speech it’s about professional responsibility. A public school teacher promoting inflammatory and potentially threatening political slogans cannot be ignored.

I’ll continue monitoring this story and updating the community as it develops.
